Sarah Ludford and Caroline Pidgeon petitioning for the one hour bus ticket.

Sarah joined Caroline Pidgeon and local Lib Dem activists in Camden to collect signatures in support of the One Hour Bus Ticket campaign. The petition is challenges Mayor Boris Johnson to introduce a ticket which enables unlimited bus travel in the capital for an hour, a scheme very similar to those running in European cities such as Paris, Rome and Brussels. You can sign the petition online here: http://www.ourcampaign.org.uk/1hourbusticket

Sarah said: "The introduction of the one-hour ticket would make a big difference to those who already use London's public transport network, including those with Oyster pay-as-you go. It would also encourage people out of their cars, making short journeys by bus more economical. There's no reason Londoners shouldn't enjoy the same deal as their counterparts in other European cities."
